ISHIKAWAJIMA HARIMA HEAVY INDUSTRIES (PROJECT NAME: HUBCO POWER PROJECT-PAKISTAN)

The illustrious Hub power station project is the first and largest power station to be financed by the private sector in Southern Asia and one of the largest private power projects in the newly industrialised world. It was this project, which launched us in the “big league” of hardware companies and broadened our knowledge about the trade. The project began in 1992 and our company was awarded the contract to be one of the major local pipe and fittings supplier to the project.

1999

TOYO ENGINEERING (PROJECT NAME: EXTENSION OF PAK AMERICAN FERTILISER LTD-PAKISTAN)

Pak-American Fertilisers Limited (PAFL) is located in Mianwali and produces 1050 metric tons of urea per day. PAFL is the subsidiary of National Fertiliser Corporation of Pakistan (NFC). The plant was commissioned in 1999. Pak-American Fertilisers (Private) Limited (PAFL) is the first fertiliser manufacturing concern in Pakistan. It was established in 1959. Both plants have been designed by TOYO Engineering Japan. The plants are latest in design and most modern. We were one of the major hardware contractors to this project and enjoy a continuing fruitful relation with them.

2000

MARUBENI CORPORATION (PROJECT NAME: PARCO OIL REFINERY & PORT QASIM POWER PROJECT)

PARCO is a fully integrated energy company and considered to be the leading player in the industry. It is one of the largest companies of the Pakistani corporate sector, having a 30-year-old history. As a joint venture between the Governments of Pakistan and Abu Dhabi, it is seen as a role model of Pak-Arab business co-operation. We have the distinction of being one of the few major pipe and fittings contractor for the company and hope to enjoy a mutually progressive relation with them in their future projects.
